FibroVera is a proprietary blend of microbial and botanical components selected to support uterine and breast health.
Reproductive health is an important topic for men and women alike. For women however, understanding and feeling confident about the body and the ebb and flow of the menstrual cycle is almost always a daily concern. FibroVera is a gentle option that offers the opportunity of bringing balance back to women’s hormone levels. FibroVera is an all-natural unique blend of hormone balancing botanicals and enzymes designed to help women support health concerns stemming from hormonal irregularities. FibroVera provides fibrinolytic (fibrin eating) enzymes and cofactors that are specifically selected to promote normal fibrin activity. Healthy hormone levels will naturally promote normal fibrin activity as well as support normal premenstrual symptoms. FibroVera is intended to modulate the hormonal response, restoring inherent processes in a woman's body. Each component was carefully selected using only well researched and clinically supported ingredients. Dr. Andrew L. Rubman is a naturopathic physician and founder of the Southbury Clinic for Traditional Medicines in Connecticut. He is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and was inducted into the association's elite Founder's Club. He is also a Fellow of the International Association for Medical Preventics and a member of the National Center for Homeopathy, the Orthomolecular Medical Society, and the National Science Honor Society. His most current project has landed him as the primary formulator of Fibrovera AHS, a unique blend of botanical components clinically documented to restore hormonal balance in woman. Hormone modulating ingredients, combined with fibrinolytic enzymes, provides women with a direct defense against uterine and breast abnormalities. Estrogen Dominance
The phenomenon of Estrogen Dominance has been widely discussed with its relationship to fibroid growth. It is a prime contributor to the deregulation of normal function experienced by not only women approaching, transitioning, and resolving the challenge of menopause, but also those young women experiencing difficulty with menarche (the beginning of fertility). This imbalance is initially characterized by a number of factors:
- A decrease in DHEA due to stress, aging, poor diet, side effects of prescription drugs etc.
- A decrease in progesterone effect due to absolute decrease in synthesis secondary to inadequate cholesterol down-conversion and increasing insensitivity of progesterone receptors.
- The activation of a cross-conversion pathway that forces progesterone to act as a source for the synthesis of estrogens; decreasing both its bioavailability as a hormone, and as a substrate for the formation of adrenal cortical hormones.
This concept, unfortunately like most of endocrinology, is difficult for the average person as well as many physicians to fully comprehend. Why is this concept important? It demonstrates that the best way to not only address conditions such as abnormal tissue growth and inflammation, is by providing the body with natural compounds that it can use to enhance processes that it already has in place to decrease symptoms and potentially undo tissue changes.
The inclusion of a DHEA supplement may indirectly increase progesterone synthesis and act to alleviate the need for available progesterone scavenged to promote a significant source for the synthesis of estrogen; relying less on progesterone as source for estrogen conversion allowing progesterone to act freely opposing estrogen. [19],[20] This process is further supported by specifically including DIM in FibroVera, to discourage the aromatization of testosterone into estrogens. I have studied the emerging literature and incorporated it into treatment regimes for over a decade and now feel comfortable enough about its metabolism and effects to include it in an OTC formula. Yes, it is a steroidal hormone precursor, however at the dosage levels supplied; it can be regarded as underwriting the proper synthesis of the estrogens and testosterone as well as the balance and effects of a myriad of neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. It is included at synergistic dose levels to help the individual not only do better, but feel better as well. The peer-reviewed research supports the safety and efficacy of DHEA and this inspires our choice and confidence

How long does it take for FibroVera to work?
For therapeutic regimens, the progression may be slow for some and quicker for others. Typically, when one is addressing hormonal challenges with a product such as FibroVera, symptoms of hormonal change can occur in a matter of days. This is the first step in the process, and the most important, as hormonal imbalances left in their unbalanced state can lead to a variety of health concerns.
Supplement Facts
Fibrinolytic Enzyme Blend
Hormonal changes can often trigger excessive fibrin fibrin production. The proprietary fibrinolytic enzyme blend in FibroVera has been added to support healthy fibrin levels. Fibrinolytic enzymes can enhance the normal process of fibrinolysis (fibrin dissolving). Serrapeptase and nattokinase are exceptional fibrinolytic enzymes. Bromelain, an enzyme derived from pineapple, has the potential to soften and digest necrotic (or dead) proteins. Papain, a protease enzyme derived from papaya, is often combined with bromelain to support healthy inflammatory levels. Protease is one of the three pancreatic enzymes produced naturally in the human body and has the ability to break down a wide range of proteins.
Coenzyme Blend
Calcium and magnesium adequacy are essential to pain modulation, as well as cramping and other PMS symptoms, and have been added as active ingredients as well as coenzymes. High doses of systemic enzymes can deplete the body’s coenzyme resources. Coenzymes provide the “fuel” necessary to power the processes of enzymes. Magnesium is a very active coenzyme, and is also essential in proper absorption of calcium.
Hormonal Support Blend
FibroVera also contains a proprietary blend of hormone modulating compounds that work synergistically to restore hormonal equilibrium. P5P, a vitamin B6 derivative is used by the central nervous system in the synthesis of serotonin and norepinephrine. Serotonin deficiencies are related to depression, sleep disturbances, and even fatigue. GLA, or gamma-Linolenic acid, is an omega-6 fatty acid that has been shown to support a healthy inflammatory response. Diindolmethane, also known as DIM, is an extract derived from cruciferous vegetables. DIM has been shown to modulate estrogen metabolism. The inclusion of DHEA, Dehydroepiandrosterone, may indirectly increase progesterone synthesis, in turn supporting hormone balance. The female tonic Dong Quai produces a relaxing effect on the muscle of the uterus by decreasing sensitivity to inflammation, making it useful for painful menstruation and breast tenderness.
Liver Cleansing Blend
As the primary site of hormone metabolite processing, healthy liver function is essential. Milk Thistle Seed has been studied extensively for its use in supporting healthy liver function. In conjunction with Dandelion Root and Hyssop Flowers, it serves to increase the liver’s ability to bind hormonal metabolites to bile and effectively move them into the intestine for excretion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will FibroVera help me when I become menopausal?
The FibroVera formula was specifically formulated to help support many of the symptomatic challenges experienced by women in hormonal transitions. It is well to consider that many of the fluctuations preceding the cessation of menses may begin a full decade before. As many know, symptom clusters may persist many months and even years after the event. We believe that women experiencing difficulty associated with menopause will note substantial improvement with the consistent use of FibroVera.
Can I take FibroVera if I am trying to conceive?
FibroVera does not contain any ingredients that will negatively impact conception. However, if you become pregnant while taking FibroVera, or are nursing presently, discontinue use and ask your health care provider for advice on how to proceed. We are aware of the special concerns of pregnant women and our role in insuring safety. Unless drugs, OTCs, and supplements are specifically tested for their safety and efficacy while pregnant and nursing, they should not be used unless specifically evaluated and approved by your physician.
Is FibroVera right for all women?
FibroVera was designed with every woman in mind. FibroVera does not directly impact hormones. FibroVera provides the key ingredients that metabolize unwanted (non-beneficial) hormone metabolites while promoting the secretion and balance of good (beneficial) ones. FibroVera's ingredients are all natural components that work to replenish missing factors from diet, restoring the inherent processes in any woman's body.
Can I take FibroVera with other supplements?
FibroVera may be safely taken with Neprinol and other dietary supplements. Neprinol can increase the fibrinolytic (fibrin lysing) portion of FibroVera. Syntol can replenish beneficial flora in the body, and Devacor may reduce gastrointestinal stress induced by the process of digesting foods low in natural enzymes.
If I am anemic, can I safely take FibroVera?
Excessive blood loss can occur during menstruation. For many forms of anemia, we recommend your healthcare provider consider a heme-iron preparation, a B12 supplement, and folic acid with additional multi-B support to address this situation. If you believe that you are or may be anemic, please consult with your health care provider.
Does FibroVera contain soy?
Soy food products have been a dietary staple for many cultures for centuries and have undeniable benefits. However, we felt it was best not to include these components in the formula at this time.
What can I expect from FibroVera?
FibroVera has been designed to work as a part of a balanced food and supplement regimen to target those symptoms associated with hormonal imbalances complicated by inflammation and fibrous tissue changes. In the short term, usually within a few weeks, women should expect to feel and function better. Within a few months, they should notice a decrease in the effects of such issues as fibrous tissue abnormalities and endometriosis. FibroVera can be safely used without significant side effects or dangerous interactions with prescription drugs.
Is FibroVera safe?
No serious or adverse side effects have been reported from taking FibroVera. If you are taking blood-thinning medication, you should consult with your physician before taking FibroVera.
